3 Ways To Celebrate National Book Day

  • Share the love: Donate your well-loved and well-read books to a local school, library, or shelter.

  • Contact an author via their social media accounts just to say hello or to tell them how much you enjoy their work!

  • Visit your local library. Libraries are full of amazing resources! Your local librarian is an absolute pro at curating the libraries collection, assisting in research, and arranging speakers and workshops to educate and entertain your community.

“There is no friend as loyal as a book.”
― Ernest Hemingway

At any given time there are at least 5 or 6 books piled on my nightstand calling for my attention. From as far back as I can remember, books always lined the shelves in every room of the house, sat invitingly on every surface, and snuggled up with me at the end of the day.
